Chicago to St. Louis High Speed Rail Plan
Midwest High Speed Rail Association
TranSystems was selected by the Midwest High Speed Rail Association to develop a plan for 220 mph high speed train service between Chicago and St. Louis. The work included a cost and travel time comparison between several potential corridors, an alignment study on the selected line, modeling of the travel time on our simulator, and completion of an infrastructure cost estimate. The report was used by the State of Illinois to prioritize its efforts in developing a high speed rail system for the region.
