Project Summary

Toyota’s North American Parts Center Ontario (NAPCO) – with a main warehouse the size of 17 football fields – buys automobile parts and accessories from myriad suppliers in Japan and the West Coast and ships them as needed to 12 regional warehouses throughout the United States and to other distributors in Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico and the South Pacific. As prime design consultant, Architect of Record and structural engineer, TranSystems devised an integrated design for site and building that combined an efficient layout for warehousing  /distribution with sustainability and visual appeal.
