TranSystems, an engineering and consulting firm that provides integrated solutions for transportation infrastructure challenges, is pleased to announce the addition of Brian Krul, PE, PTOE, to our Pittsburgh, Pa., office. Brian brings 18 years of comprehensive transportation experience specializing in major highway and traffic design, project management, and design development and delivery. He will manage all new transportation pursuits for the company in Western Pennsylvania.

“Brian brings a tremendous amount of experience with transportation projects in western Pennsylvania. I have been very impressed with the energy he has shown in developing client relationships, and reinforcing our commitment to the Pittsburgh area. With Brian’s leadership, we are poised to move to the next level in the Pittsburgh market,” said Michael Cuddy, TranSystems’ Principal.

Brian started his career at the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation District 11-0. From there, he served in a number of different capacities on the transportation consultant side of the business. Most recently he was the leader of one firm’s transportation group as well as a senior project manager on several high profile transportation projects. He has developed a skill set that includes – technical, operational, and sales expertise.

“Western Pennsylvania brings opportunities and challenges, which I fully embrace. We are optimistic that a transportation bill will pass in the state, opening doors to growth in the region,” said Krul. “Additionally, I have been impressed with the technology and processes in place here at TranSystems, but mostly it’s the people who go out of their way to help me that have made the deepest impression.”
