Air Cargo Facility Design and Planning

TranSystems specializes in civil engineering design services for industrial and commercial buildings – particularly cargo, hangar and maintenance facilities for aviation clients such as the Port of Portland, US Army and Air Force, US Department of Defense, Lockheed-Martin, Lynxs Group, Delta Airlines and Toyota Aviation.

Our planning and design efforts enable our clients to maximize the assets of the airport land and provide efficient facilities, either single buildings or multi-building complexes, so that the overall airport plan becomes a better instrument for development. Our experience and knowledge of the function of air cargo facilities has been gained through over 50 years of planning and designing these types of facilities. We have maintained our level of competence for these functions to include the aircraft from the past, aircraft currently used and aircraft in development for use in the near future.

As one of the most effective air service deployment consultants in the US, our client base – which includes airports, passenger airlines, all-cargo carriers, as well as local and federal agencies – continues to expand, as our efforts have resulted in 147 new routes within the industry since 2001. We regularly perform services such as pavement design, construction methodology savings and expedited planning, design and permitting scheduling.

Transystems, using the latest FAA regulations and requirements, has also been able to save our third party developers construction costs by economizing the design of aircraft pavements for their facilities. This includes innovative pavement design, construction methodology savings and expedited planning, design and permitting scheduling.
