Maritime Construction Management

As construction manager, TranSystems acts as the owner’s representative in the overseeing of the project from preconstruction and bidding/award through quality assurance and project coordination to project control and close-out. Through translating the language of the owner and the design professional into the language of the contractor, we ensure that the owner’s interests are kept paramount at all times and that all project team members accomplish their tasks in a manner that fulfills the owner’s vision for the project.

TranSystems has been providing Maritime Construction Management services such as infrastructure design, bid solicitation, value engineering, cost estimating, public engagement, contract administration, change orders, document review and coordination, training, and final project reporting, since 1981. Our team has delivered more than 200 design and construction management projects of varying size and type for agencies ranging in value from $500,000 to $128 million.

We have developed unique skills in the design-build project delivery system for marinas allowing our staff to create schematic plans and performance specifications that encompasses the scope of the project. As Program Manager, we are able to manage the entire design-build process, from inception to delivery, affording our clients the best value and cost for the project.

Over the past 20 years we have refined our construction management services and systems to offer clients efficient and effective tools for the delivery of quality projects that are both on time and within budget.
