Feasibility and Economic studies help an organization prepare for and meet future and long-term strategic planning goals for business and infrastructure. They allow clients the opportunity to evaluate the potential for expansion and improved productivity, as well as identify investment opportunities and innovative funding to make a project feasible.

TranSystems’ professionals provide two main categories of expertise: 1. Comprehensive Freight Flow Analysis and Forecasts, and 2. Economics and Logistics. As part of the freight flow analysis and forecast, we conduct a review of all relevant transportation modes, domestic goods movement and international trade, as well as the demand for transportation equipment and facilities. Additionally, our staff provides customer/stakeholder interview surveys and statistical choice analysis, and performs econometric, input-output and other forecast models and techniques.

Within  the practice of economics and logistics studies, TranSystems experts examine relevant freight corridors, port gateways, and inland ports; review transportation and other costs; perform location/site benchmarking for warehousing/distribution and manufacturing; provide concepts for network strategy and optimization and transportation service; and conduct cost-benefit analysis and economic impact studies.
