TranSystems

Coastal and Waterfront Engineering

TranSystems is recognized nationally and internationally for our planning and engineering design capabilities and maintenance programming for port and maritime clients. We have authored strategic port master plans for 65 of the 90 deepwater general cargo, container and cruise ports in the US.

Our commitment to the marine sector incorporates all elements of coastal engineering and waterfront development: piers and wharves, marinas, ferry and cruise terminal design and architecture, and public waterfront design. Our marine services include feasibility analysis and financial options, planning and pre-design services, operations analysis and security planning, civil and structural engineering, constructability review, construction management, value engineering, permitting, condition surveys, and quality assurance and inspection.

We augment these services with particular strengths in program and project management, GIS, and construction management services. TranSystems has worked extensively with Coastal Zone management agencies, the Environmental Protection Agency, the US Army Corps of Engineers, National Marine Fisheries, and local departments of natural resources.

We know how to facilitate the regulatory permitting processes for all types of marine projects across the US.
