TranSystems provided rental car functional design consultation services for the Portland International Airport (PDX) Rental Car Quick Turn Around (QTA) Facility. The project established a new QTA that is properly sized, laid out, and equipped to facilitate the future demand and needs of rental car companies in a safe and efficient manner. The facility creates infrastructure improvements in and adjacent to the existing PDX parking garages addressing operational inefficiencies, capacity constraints, and other improvements to rental car facility operations. Services for this project included architectural design; civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and geotechnical engineering; landscape design; dynamic modeling; cost estimating; phasing; and bidding, permitting, and construction support.
