The Washington DOT Olympic Region Maintenance and Administrative Facility is a new, state-of-the-art headquarters for WSDOT, which consolidated and relocated numerous departments onto a single campus, creating a functional, energy-efficient workspace to meet the current and future needs of the agency. The Design/Build project includes a new 31,721 sqft administrative building, a 53,979 sqft heavy maintenance and operations building, a 10,418 sqft storage building, and a new communications tower. The complex provides space for offices, trade shops, light and heavy vehicle repair shops, fabrication shops, a material testing lab, central stores, and a fueling station for the daily operations of 319 staff, enhancing the operational efficiency and employee well-being. TranSystems (formerly BCE Engineers) provided electrical engineering, low-voltage design, and fire protection services.
