Voters in Tacoma passed a bond that marked a significant step forward in the revitalization of education infrastructure within the community. With this funding secured, Hunt Middle School was transformed from an outdated swing site into a new school serving 600 students. The new 96,079 sqft school was delivered via progressive Design-Build and features classrooms, a gymnasium, a performing arts space, and a commercial kitchen. TranSystems (formerly BCE Engineers) provided mechanical, electrical, low voltage, and fire protection engineering services for this project.
