TranSystems provides facility engineering and design, environmental planning/permitting, grant writing, and construction services to AMPORTS, one of the largest auto processors (import/export) in North America, at multiple locations across the U.S. TranSystems is currently supporting facilities development in Antioch, CA, which involves redeveloping 35.8 acres of landside improvements, including site civil/ grading, 25 acres of vehicle parking/storage capacity pavement, one 25,000-SF pre-engineered metal vehicle processing building, utility tie-in (electrical, water, etc.), shore-to-ship power, fire suppression, fencing, security cameras, and site lighting. The facility includes a pier conversion of the existing roll-on/roll-off operations and will mimic a similar facility in Benicia, CA.
TranSystems has completed engineering design of the wharf repairs, and permitting, and provided support for procurement. The basic services under this contract will include design services during construction (DSDC) of the Benicia Wharf repair and reconstruction.
