The San Antonio Consolidated Rental Car Facility (ConRAC) provides a higher level of customer service and operational efficiency for both rental car customers and short-term public parking. The 13-acre, 212,000-square-foot project has the capacity for 1,950 ready/return rental car spaces and 1,400 public parking spaces configured on six different floors. Pedestrians have direct access to the facility through a skybridge. There also is an adjacent multilevel fuel, wash, and maintenance facility to support rental car operations. Art was integrated into the overall design. TranSystems provided demand level analysis, programming, design guideline development, security design, simulation/modeling and full architectural and engineering services required for design and construction administration.
