TranSystems began working on the SCDOT Bridge Asset Management project in 2020. The project entails maintenance, repair, and operations for South Carolina’s largest complex bridges, including the Ravenel Bridge in Charleston (a cable stayed bridge) and all of the state-owned movable bridges.
For the SCDOT Bridge Asset Management project, we deployed highly trained bridge tenders and maintenance technicians, ensuring fast mobilization as all team members have upwards of ten years of relevant project experience. This team focuses on proactive, preventative maintenance. In doing so, we emphasize keeping all movable bridges operational through the utilization of experienced staff and subcontractors that know these bridges and can provide effective operational troubleshooting when necessary.
