The San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission (SJRRC) selected TranSystems for on-call consulting services to provide project development and design services to complete proposed rail projects associated with expanding the San Joaquins and Altamont Corridor Express (ACE) service to Stanislaus, Merced, and Sacramento counties. TranSystems provided complete design, permitting, and construction phase support services for the Lathrop/Manteca Shuttle Pullout PA/ED (CEQA/NEPA), one of two projects awarded to TranSystems to date.
This project provided the infrastructure for a new shuttle bus pullout along West Yosemite Avenue adjacent to the Lathrop/Manteca ACE Train Station, allowing shuttle buses to access the station without entering the parking lot. The work included a new concrete sidewalk, electrical systems, lighting, fencing, paving, and street and parking lot re-striping. The project constructed the necessary infrastructure for the shuttle service to access the station without entering the station’s parking lot.
