The $1.4 billion SR-91 corridor improvement project (CIP) spans 20-miles of highway in Riverside, California. TranSystems (formerly OPC) was instrumental in ensuring the required right of way (ROW) was available for construction, including 307 acquisitions that resulted in 473 relocations. Our contributions started in the PA/ED phase as we provided ROW cost estimates and Data Sheets to address the impacts on over 500 properties, offering 3 project alternatives with 20 unique design variations. Complexities included complex cost-to-cure remediation strategies and challenging commercial business relocations. Our devoted project team worked closely with a variety of agencies to ensure smooth delivery of the ROW and resolution of any conflicts. Our Program Management services provided efficient and cost-effective results through design and construction coordination, schedule and risk management, budget and resource allocation, and various cost and feasibility studies.
