TranSystems provided planning, architecture, and engineering services for the post-hurricane reconstruction of USCG Air Station Borinquen in Borinquen, Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, one of the largest design and construction projects ever undertaken by the Coast Guard. The Air Station is the center for emergency response for the entire Caribbean. TranSystems’ design met the USCG requirement that the recapitalized facility must be resilient against future extreme climate events.
